TYPE-A：“Bilateral Program” includes a full or partial scholarship established by MOE in accordance with educational exchange agreements or consensus between Chinese government and governments of other countries, institutions, universities or international organizations.

 

Applicants shall apply to the dispatching authorities for overseas study of their home countries.

 

1. Supporting Categories, Duration and Instruction Language

(1) Supporting Category: The Bilateral Program supports undergraduate students, graduate students, general scholars and senior scholars. Please consult the dispatching authorities of your home country for the categories available

(2) Instruction Language: Chinese or English

(3) Duration: The scholarship covers both major study and Chinese language (preparatory study).

 

2. Scholarship Coverage

3. Where and When to Apply

(1) Where to Apply: Apply to the dispatching authorities for overseas study of your home country.

(2) When to Apply: You need to apply between November and April. Please consult the dispatching authorities for the specific deadline of each year.

 

TYPE-B：Chinese University Program is a full scholarship for designated Chinese universities and certain provincial education offices in specific provinces or autonomous regions to recruit outstanding international students for graduate studies in China.

 

1. Supporting Categories, Duration and Instruction Language

(1) Supporting Category: This scholarship only supports graduate students.

(2) Duration: The scholarship covers both major study and Chinese language/preparatory study, as specified in the Admission Letter.

(3) Instruction Language: Chinese or English. 

 

2. Scholarship Coverage and Standard
